At Christ’s College Finchley we value and are proud to be a modern, forward-looking school which serves our local community.

We want Christ’s College to fire the imaginations of its students, and support them to develop in ways which stand them in good stead for their future lives and responsibilities.

Our school motto, since March 1906, is Usque Proficiens meaning “advance all the way”. In today’s 21st century, this 20th century motto encapsulates the mission of Christ’s College to delivering a traditional education through a contemporary curriculum and modern teaching methods.

 Our staff are integral in the pursuit of our objectives: dedicated to developing and implementing the best possible teaching practices, so they can maximise every student’s progress whilst making learning engaging and exciting.

By providing students with enriching educational experiences, we aim to help them mature intellectually, physically and emotionally; and to develop resilience, think creatively and independently, foster passions and to be empathetic and compassionate toward others.

The values of Christ’s College are at the heart of everything we do as a school and describe the qualities our students and staff value most – tradition, aspiration and success. These values are the foundation for obtaining the academic success we relentlessly pursue.
