CHRIST’S COLLEGE FINCHLEY CELEBRATES GCSE CLASS OF 2026 WITH ANOTHER YEAR OF OUTSTANDING RESULTS
We are delighted to share that, once again, we have demonstrated our commitment to delivering academic excellence, following impressive subject results and stand-out individual performances in this year’s GCSE examinations.
Pupils and staff celebrated together, recognising one another’s achievements and reflecting on the exceptional school environment they have been part of over the last five years. CCF is a place where high standards and expectations go hand-in-hand with an outstanding pupil experience, offering countless opportunities for every child to grow into confident, well-rounded and informed young adults.
GCSE highlights:
- 82% of pupils attained grades 9-4 in both English and mathematics, with 63% attaining grades 9-5
- 35% of all grades were 9-7
- 70% of all grades were 9-5
- 80% of all grades were 9-4
These results highlight the ongoing dedication, resilience and ambition of our pupils, who have thrived in an environment that nurtures both academic excellence and personal growth. From their very first day in Year 7, CCF has fostered a culture of encouragement, where every child is supported by passionate teachers, caring staff and a community that believes in their potential. The collaborative culture, mutual respect and unwavering support within our classrooms and beyond have empowered our pupils to achieve exceptional outcomes, while developing the confidence and character to embrace the exciting opportunities ahead.

The academic success of our pupils today is a testament to their dedication and drive to be the best that they can be, supported by their families and by the excellent team at CCF. We aim to instil a passion for learning while fostering positive and ambitious attitudes in all our young people. Alongside academic excellence, we place great importance on developing a wide range of professional skills, ensuring our pupils leave us as well-rounded individuals, equipped with the confidence and ambition to become successful members of society. I know we can expect to see great things from the class of 2026, and we look forward to welcoming many of them back in September as part of our aspirational Sixth Form.
