Disneyland Paris 2023

Our highly anticipated trip to Disneyland Paris returned this year for our Year 7 pupils.

At Christ's College Finchley, transition doesn't end when pupils join us in September. We continue to provide the opportunities to ensure our pupils settle into life at CCF, are happy and form strong friendships whilst being supported at key stages of their educational journey. One of these opportunities is a trip for our (not so new) Year 7 pupils and this year saw the return of our visit to Disneyland Paris!

I really enjoyed the trip because I definitely faced some of my fears (of heights) and I had loads of fun! I liked getting to know my peers and teachers more; I made lots of new friends. Zoe

Last weekend, 80 Year 7 pupils had a wonderful time away in Paris at Disneyland and Park Asterix. They enjoyed a jam-packed day at Disneyland where they experienced both the studios and theme park. Highlights included the Ratatouille ride and Big Thunder Mountain. Pupils especially enjoyed seeing (or rather hearing) their teachers scream their way around rollercoasters - no names mentioned!

This trip was probably the best I have gone to.  It was worth the wait for Disneyland, Asterix and a tour! Disneyland had so may fun rides and a very fun carnival for the 30th anniversary.  The tour was calming and peaceful with us even going to the Eiffel Tower. The hotels were great quality with warm showers and comfy beds as well as the arcade. The ferry had lots of fun areas as well. Nicholas

After a much needed sleep, the group moved onto Park Asterix where pupils were thrilled with the water rides and had a lot of fun throughout the day.

Disneyland was great, we had the chance to look at the parades which included all kids of Disney characters. Asterix Park was great, some of us went on the biggest rollercoaster in the park! It was scary but very fun. Zana

Finally, on the last day, pupils were able to enjoy a tour of Paris, visiting key sites such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Arc De Triomphe. After a picnic lunch, it was time to head back to school, which included an awards ceremony on the ferry.

The trip was so fun. Disneyland was amazing; the rides and food was perfect. Parc Asterix was my favourite, the water rides were the best and the rollercoasters were so fun. The hotel was lovely as well and over all the best trip I have been on. Grace.

Pupils represented the CCF with pride and were a true credit to the whole school community. A great time was had by all!
