International Women's Day 2025
Celebrating International Women's Day
This week, our school has been proud to celebrate International Women’s Day with a range of activities designed to inspire and educate our students about the importance of gender equality and the achievements of women around the world.
Students took part in special PSHE lessons highlighting the history and significance of International Women’s Day, featuring stories of pioneering women who have made a lasting impact in various fields. Throughout the week, discussions in lessons have encouraged students to reflect on the role of women in society, the challenges they continue to face, and the progress still to be made.
Our social media channels have also been actively sharing the stories of some of our own inspirational female staff members. These posts have included insights into their careers, the obstacles they have overcome, and the women who have inspired them along the way.
We hope that this week has not only celebrated the achievements of women but also encouraged our students to strive for a future where equality is at the heart of everything we do. Let’s continue to support and uplift one another, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.
