Premises & Operations Manager
Pay: Point 30-34 £34,794 - £38,799
Full time 52 weeks per annum
Subject to a 6 month Probationary Period
We are seeking a Premises & Operations Manager to support and lead the management and maintenance of our school sites. The successful applicant will take responsibility for the management of this large secondary academy/post 16 site, associated facilities and student transport. They will be responsible for the management and development of specialist premises and site functions, leading on all aspects of Health & Safety, maintenance and security thereby ensuring a safe working environment. They will manage other site staff, including allocation and monitoring of work and performance appraisal and oversee external contractors working on site. The successful applicant will also lead on the management of large scale academy/community lettings programmes and their associated income.
Working hours may occasionally include split shifts and supporting events taking place outside of school hours which are held in the academy.
It is preferred that applicants hold a current, clean D1 driving license and a valid MiDAS certificate but is not necessary in the first instance provided they are willing to train if required.
